Best Essay Writing Service In Pakistan At Affordable Rates
Best Essay Writing Service In Pakistan At Affordable Rates For those who are on the lookout for a fundamental tough idea, that is useful. I solely want to write down 250 phrases and you donât have how many pages that is on your listing. Tell a narrative that won't have happened to another person. Tell a narrative that youâve been holding again for worry of embarrassment. Share a success that you justâre not totally positive youâve earned. It is dependent upon how giant or small your letters are. I average 240 handwritten phrases per faculty ruled sheet. I write longer words than most, so most of my pages have much less words than the estimates on this web page. Normally for on-line publishing in my opinion we've to make use of 12 font dimension ,single spacing.therefore 500 words is one web page. Aye what number of phrases do I have to place if Iâm typing a 14 web page essay. I agree that there are lots of people who're overly concerned with word count, but there are reliable causes to keep it in thoughts as nicely. If itâs not something important to you and your writing, you can ignore it. Some of us get marked down factors if we don't hit a sure word rely or web page rely. If Iâm assigned a paper and it needs to be a minimum number of words, I worry about hitting that number. Most of my professors require that we submit issues online. This makes it very easy because the computer counts the number of phrases for them. I wrote an essay of 1550 phrases and it was barely four.5 pages . I even have a paper with ~2800 phrases and it's 3 traces past the 4th page. You should change them so they are more correct for individuals who use longer vocabulary words. Depending on the genre of book you might be writing, word rely can be critical in whether or not or not your writing can actually be printed. Either method, stop judging writing as itâs being written. If you need help getting started, hereâs an informative submit on how to start a blog. It works well for me, however I know others who donât do well with it. I suppose it relies upon so much in your personality, but forcing myself to be consistent day in and day trip helps me get my books done. Without a every day word rely, I would never full them. What am I supposed to do if I write 1000 words, nevertheless it doesnât make the number of pages I want? I donât assume I should have to write extra phrases just because mine occur to be shorter than my classmates. My #1 rule is to write down like Aaron Sorkin would have you talk . Sorkinâs style is short, sharp bursts that serve to move every thing alongside, without the small speak that clouds understanding. Write like Sorkin would write a narrative primarily based in your life. Every week since 2006, I actually have been pouring tremendous time, thought, love, and resources into Brain Pickings, which remains free (and ad-free) and is made potential by patronage. It takes me hundreds of hours a month to research and compose, and thousands of dollars to maintain. I can change he margins, enhance the font point size or just select a font that fits me needs for space. That is why nearly al assignments are done with word counts. Everyone knows how easy it's to manipulate pages that itâs the one means to make sure assignments are carried out accurately. Just as a result of an estimate receivedât be exactly right doesnât mean it isnât helpful. We both wrote the identical variety of words, his are just longer so it takes up more pages. That means individuals who write long words have a bonus even though lengthy phrases arenât all the time good to use. Things have been a lot simpler again within the day when you would know exactly how many pages 500 phrases can be. Now that itâs really easy to control pages, they haven't any actual which means. Publishers like certain genres to be within certain word counts, so any creator who hopes to be revealed has to create their works inside these counts. Many authors use word rely as a motivational device. To help them from getting stuck and enhancing each sentence over and over again as they write, they choose a minimal number of phrases they wish to write every day. These phrases may not be perfect and can probably have to be closely edited, nevertheless it gets the concepts down and keeps them from getting stuck on one area of their book. Itâs a method to motivate them to get the book accomplished.

Personal Statement Tip Cliches of the Year
I havent decided whether to have an annual Clichà ©s of the Year post, but I have decided to have one this year. Either I am getting old and crotchety since becoming a grandmother for the second time, (Actually Im thrilled. Shes gorgeous, 3 weeks old tomorrow, and this was simply the first time I figured out a way to mention her .) or you folks are including more clichà ©s in your writing, or its just time to write about them. I think the latter. A cliche according to Dictionary.com: a trite, stereotyped expression; a sentence or phrase, usually expressing a popular or common thought or idea, that has lost originality, ingenuity, and impact by long overuse. I like that definition. But Ill also share my own description.à In a recent email to Accepted.com editors asking for their favorites, I wrote: Every year certain phrases seem to come into vogue, almost like an outlandish fashion that works only on a few models and rare occasions and somehow everyone who is anyone wears it everywhere and all the time. Then it ceases to be fashion statement. It ceases to express anything. So what are my favorite clichà ©s in applicant personal statements and essays? And the winner is Take it to the next levelà This poor phrase, abused and overused, has lost all meaning, distinctiveness, and color. Like the frequently washed tie-die T-shirt form the 70s, its long past retirement age. Its more than ready for the rag heap.à Strike it from your essays! Frankly, when I see take X to the next level my eyes glaze over, and I really just dont want to read more because I have read this so many times before.à Thats not the reaction you want your essay to engender. Now the Runners Up, in no particular order. Synergies:à Jennifer Bloomà nominates synergies. She thinks theyre going nuts this year. Sheila Bender adds that she feels like sneezing when she sees synergies in a personal statement. You also dont want your essays to trigger allergic reactions. Leverage: Tanis Kmetyk is seeing less ofà leverage, but I still see too much of it for my taste. Been there for me: So banal and hackneyed. And vague. Did he or she listen to you rant and rave at all hours of the night? Walk with you daily to help you deal with loss? Visit regularly? Sit with you quietly? Work long hours? Simply lend profound emotional support in uncounted ways large and small? For Heavens sake tell me what they did! The bottom line: Whatever happened to conclusion, summary, crux, main point, core, or a host of other phrases. Bottom line means Income Expenses. Limit its use to income statements. These are just a few of the most pernicious clichà ©s that infest your essays.à Dont use them!!!!! Ok. I feel better now. If other admissions readers, Accepted.com editors, English teachers, or admissions consultants are reading this blog and want to share their favorite clichà ©s from application essays and personal statements à you know the ones you really, really despise and never want to see again please add them in a comment. Maybe, just maybe, we wont see them so often if applicants know how evil they are. We can only hope, although I recognize this post reflects the tip of the iceberg.à And yes, Thats a cliche.

The Inaugural Address of John F. Kennedy
John Kennedys inaugural address is one of the most memorable political speeches of the past century. The young presidents reliance on biblical quotations, metaphors, parallelism, and antithesis recall some of the powerful speeches of Abraham Lincoln. The most famous line in Kennedys address (Ask not . . .) is a classic example of chiasmus. In his book White House Ghosts (Simon Schuster, 2008), journalist Robert Schlesinger (the son of historian Arthur Schlesinger, Jr., a Kennedy adviser) outlines some of the distinctive qualities of John Kennedys oratorical style: Short words and clauses were the order, with simplicity and clarity the goal. A self-described idealist without illusions, JFK preferred a cool, cerebral approach and had little use for florid expressions and complex prose. He liked alliteration, not solely for reasons of rhetoric but to reinforce the audiences recollection of his reasoning. His taste for contrapuntal phrasing--never negotiating out of fear but never fearing to negotiate--illustrated his dislike of extreme opinions and options. As you read Kennedys speech, consider how his methods of expression contribute to the forcefulness of his message. The Inaugural Address of John F. Kennedy (January 20, 1961) Vice President Johnson, Mr. Speaker, Mr. Chief Justice, President Eisenhower, Vice President Nixon, President Truman, reverend clergy, fellow citizens, we observe today not a victory of party, but a celebration of freedom--symbolizing an end, as well as a beginning--signifying renewal, as well as change. For I have sworn before you and Almighty God the same solemn oath our forebears prescribed nearly a century and three-quarters ago. The world is very different now. For man holds in his mortal hands the power to abolish all forms of human poverty and all forms of human life. And yet the same revolutionary beliefs for which our forebears fought are still at issue around the globe--the belief that the rights of man come not from the generosity of the state, but from the hand of God. We dare not forget today that we are the heirs of that first revolution. Let the word go forth from this time and place, to friend and foe alike, that the torch has been passed to a new generation of Americans--born in this century, tempered by war, disciplined by a hard and bitter peace, proud of our ancient heritage, and unwilling to witness or permit the slow undoing of those human rights to which this nation has always been committed, and to which we are committed today at home and around the world. Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe, to assure the survival and the success of liberty. This much we pledge--and more. To those old allies whose cultural and spiritual origins we share, we pledge the loyalty of faithful friends. United there is little we cannot do in a host of cooperative ventures. Divided there is little we can do--for we dare not meet a powerful challenge at odds and split asunder. To those peoples in the huts and villages of half the globe struggling to break the bonds of mass misery, we pledge our best efforts to help them help themselves, for whatever period is required--not because the Communists may be doing it, not because we seek their votes, but because it is right. If a free society cannot help the many who are poor, it cannot save the few who are rich. To our sister republics south of our border, we offer a special pledge: to convert our good words into good deeds, in a new alliance for progress, to assist free men and free governments in casting off the chains of poverty. But this peaceful revolution of hope cannot become the prey of hostile powers. Let all our neighbors know that we shall join with them to oppose aggression or subversion anywhere in the Americas. And let every other power know that this hemisphere intends to remain the master of its own house. To that world assembly of sovereign states, the United Nations, our last best hope in an age where the instruments of war have far outpaced the instruments of peace, we renew our pledge of support--to prevent it from becoming merely a forum for invective, to strengthen its shield of the new and the weak--and to enlarge the area in which its writ may run. Finally, to those nations who would make themselves our adversary, we offer not a pledge but a request: that both sides begin anew the quest for peace, before the dark powers of destruction unleashed by science engulf all humanity in planned or accidental self-destruction. We dare not tempt them with weakness. For only when our arms are sufficient beyond doubt can we be certain beyond doubt that they will never be employed. But neither can two great and powerful groups of nations take comfort from our present course--both sides overburdened by the cost of modern weapons, both rightly alarmed by the steady spread of the deadly atom, yet both racing to alter that uncertain balance of terror that stays the hand of mankinds final war. So let us begin anew--remembering on both sides that civility is not a sign of weakness, and sincerity is always subject to proof. Let us never negotiate out of fear, but let us never fear to negotiate. Let both sides explore what problems unite us instead of belaboring those problems which divide us. Let both sides, for the first time, formulate serious and precise proposals for the inspection and control of arms, and bring the absolute power to destroy other nations under the absolute control of all nations. Let both sides seek to invoke the wonders of science instead of its terrors. Together let us explore the stars, conquer the deserts, eradicate disease, tap the ocean depths, and encourage the arts and commerce. Let both sides unite to heed, in all corners of the earth, the command of Isaiah--to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free. And, if a beachhead of cooperation may push back the jungle of suspicion, let both sides join in creating a new endeavor--not a new balance of power, but a new world of law--where the strong are just and the weak secure and the peace preserved. All this will not be finished in the first one hundred days. Nor will it be finished in the first one thousand days, nor in the life of this administration, nor even perhaps in our lifetime on this planet. But let us begin. In your hands, my fellow citizens, more than mine, will rest the final success or failure of our course. Since this country was founded, each generation of Americans has been summoned to give testimony to its national loyalty. The graves of young Americans who answered the call to service surround the globe. Now the trumpet summons us again--not as a call to bear arms, though arms we need--not as a call to battle, though embattled we are--but a call to bear the burden of a long twilight struggle, year in and year out, rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation, a struggle against the common enemies of man: tyranny, poverty, disease, and war itself. Can we forge against these enemies a grand and global alliance, North and South, East and West, that can assure a more fruitful life for all mankind? Will you join in that historic effort? In the long history of the world, only a few generations have been granted the role of defending freedom in its hour of maximum danger. I do not shrink from this responsibility--I welcome it. I do not believe that any of us would exchange places with any other people or any other generation. The energy, the faith, the devotion which we bring to this endeavor will light our country and all who serve it. And the glow from that fire can truly light the world. And so, my fellow Americans, ask not what your country can do for you--ask what you can do for your country. My fellow citizens of the world, ask not what America will do for you, but what together we can do for the freedom of man. Finally, whether you are citizens of America or citizens of the world, ask of us here the same high standards of strength and sacrifice which we ask of you. With a good conscience our only sure reward, with history the final judge of our deeds, let us go forth to lead the land we love, asking his blessing and his help, but knowing that here on earth Gods work must truly be our own. International Development SIS 637-002 International Development Paper #2 November 17, 2013 Despite this yearââ¬â¢s onslaught of devastating earthquakes, factional rebel sieges, and most recently, record breaking typhoons, the Philippines is doing surprisingly well for itself. In fact, The Economist Intelligence Unit reports that though the wreckage caused by last weekââ¬â¢s Supertyphoon Haiyan will likely slow GDP somewhat, economic damage will not be significant, the Eastern Visayas region accounting for only two per cent of the countryââ¬â¢s GDP. Pork Barrel is a state allocation of funds set aside for senators t o use on development projects of their choice, of which the president says the accused used for fabricated project proposals to take personal kickbacks. Public protests against the scandal have been massive, and the people are calling for not only the eradication of the Pork Barrel fund itself, but of the presidentââ¬â¢s own spending fund as well. President Aquino faces the dilemma of upholding his strict anticorruption agenda, appealing to the public, and maintaining support of powerful lawmakers and congressmen (Hookway). James Hookway argues that Aquinoââ¬â¢s decision on the scandal will heavily determine foreign investor confidence in the Philippines, influencing the path of the countryââ¬â¢s development. My learning barriers to the achievement of set goals are identified to ensure that I develop strategies and resources to overcome the barriers. The set learning goals make it possible for me to attain the required skills and concept taught in school for personal development. Develop critical reading and thinking skills Critical thinking makes it possible for an individual to acquire required knowledge and skills for problem-solving (Street, 2014). My goal of developing critical reading and thinking skills will improve my skills of successfully submitting the school assignments as required by the instructor. The barriers to achieving my goal include an unwillingness to read, copying past study and being depends only on notes. These barriers will be handled by strategies such as thinking outside the box and reading more material to acquire required critical knowledge. Critical thinking and reading skills make it possible for a student to submit a standardized assignment (Fairclough, 2014). A student can improve critical knowledge and skills through a continuous research on different topics in the course. The perception about studies requires being improved to ensure that one positive action towards the achievement of set goals. Discussions with other students will improve my critical thinking and rea ding skills due to the additional information acquired from the group discussions. Critical thinking involves evaluating, assessment and interpretation of information by an individual (Kong, Qin, Zhou, Mou, Gao, 2014). This is where one is supposed to have required skills and knowledge to differently integrate information to ensure that there is an improvement of the critical thinking process. Critical thinking and reading are vital in problem-solving through to quality judgment information acquired from different learning materials (Weinberg Gould, 2014). The performance of an individual is improved through quality submission of assignments by developing required critical reading and thinking skills. Develop my time management skills Time management is important in ensuring that I complete my assignment at the stated time by the tutor. This requires one to prioritize academic activities compared to the social activities in ensuring that there is a continuous improvement in school performance. It is essential for a student to have experience of time management to ensure that there is a proper functioning of the individual (Mukhtar, Ramzan, Kaneez, 2016). The students are required to reduce the time used in social media, which have been made widely accessible to the young people. I will use the strategy of prioritizing strategy to social media in ensuring that my performance improves in school. The internet will be used to gather required information from books, articles and YouTube videos which relate to class courses (Nickerson Zodhiates, 2013). Time management will make it possible for me to have a brighter future due to the improvement of academic performance. An increase in time of study makes it possible fo r an individual to research on assignment for quality academic work properly. In coming up with a proper study timetable, a student is supposed to have an insight on the strategies, resources, and barriers to time management. This will improve the need of a student to get the study materials such as lecture slides, books, and article journal to improve the study outcome of the courses (O'Donnell, Hmelo-Silver, Erkens, 2013). I will improve my time management skills in studies by coming up with a realistic and flexible schedule that will make learning effective to achieve higher grades in the class. Develop my academic writing skills Academic writing skills make it possible for an individual to communicate to the teacher and other students effectively. This is where the content in assignment and quizzes are of high quality to clarify ideas to the targeted individuals (Bailey, 2014). My barriers to developing academic writing skills are that I do not know how to write academically and do not have enough English knowledge. To effectively deal with the barrier I will study academic writing from different sources and gather enough information about English. In coming up with required academic writing skills, one is supposed to identify targeted audience to come up with the required points for the assignments (Robson McCartan, 2016). I will use books and other learning sources to ensure that there is a supportive audience about the research. After writing one is required to proofread to ensure that the paper is credible with no grammar and spelling errors. Proper punctuation when coming up with an academic paper make s it of high quality to achieve higher grades. I will continually read the book, article journal, and websites that teach English to improve my language for a smooth academic writing in accordance with the course. The paper should have proper sections that will communicate the required information to the targeted audience (Biggam, 2015). I will make sure that I read a lot to ensure that I come up with an assignment that is of high quality for the achievement of the goal of developing academic writing. Learn how to reference Referencing is essential in reducing cases of plagiarism in assignment through the development of unique work. In handling the barriers of referencing, I will use tutorial referencing guides and make an assignment to know referencing practically. Plagiarism is cheating, according to the university rules requiring an individual to have the required skills of referencing to give credit to the author of books, websites, journal articles and websites used in the research (Foltynek Glendinning, 2015). The required knowledge in referencing makes the assignments and quizzes to meet the required standard of learning. I will use the guides to have the required referencing knowledge of reference content written in a particular research. Referencing the source of the information is important in research as it appears of high quality to the targeted audience (Canagarajah, 2013). The university assignment requires one to use another individual ideas and words in completing the assignment requiri ng one to reference for a smooth flow of the learning process. I will follow the set referencing standards to make it possible to achieve high grades from researches and assignments in the school. There are different styles of referencing which include; Chicago, MLA, APA, Harvard, Oxford, and Vancouver (Bell, 2014). I will use the online guides to acquire the required knowledge and skills to use the different referencing styles to complete assignments. Learning the diverse referencing styles will improve my overall school performance through submission of quality and unique work to the lecturers for higher grades from standard assignments. Conclusion From the reflection, it is clear that an individual is supposed to set learning goals to improve the grades acquired in school. My learning goals are developing critical thinking and reading skills, develop time management skills, develop academic writing skills and learn how to reference. These goals are valid in improving my academic performance in the university through submission of standardized assignments. Recommendation The learning goals will positively impact my future by being successful in the university. The skills acquired in a university such as time management and critical thinking will be used in my career. This is where I can come up with a realistic and reliable plan when working to achieve the career goals in the future. Critical thinking will improve my ability to deal with other staff from different ethnic background. The skills will make me have the ability to solve problems in an organization to become a leader in future. Bibliography Bailey, S. (2014). Academic writing: A handbook for international students. Trifles and Duppressed Desires Essay Example For Students
Trifles and Duppressed Desires Essay The plays Trifles and Suppressed Desires wrap around a central theme of sexual tension between women and men. The characters are in search of lifes meaning and seeking self-definition. In Trifles, ignorance of sexism is exposed as a major theme. The play Suppressed Desires explores new feminist theories between a married couple. Both plays were written in the 1920s way before the womens movement began But this traditional way of thinking has surprisingly continued even today and is a very important issue in our society. This is what makes both plays very appealing to us now. The play Trifles is a true murder mystery by Susan Glaspell. The setting is in a lonely, cold landscape of the Wrights kitchen, where the action of the play takes place. The kitchen is in disorder with unwashed dishes, a dirty dishtowel and a loaf of bread sitting out. The scene gives the impression of a lonely household with little attention having been paid to cleaning up either recently or ever. Mrs. We will write a custom essay on Trifles and Duppressed Desires specifically for you for only $16.38 $13.9/page Order now Wright is placed in the kitchen in her rocking chair but does not speak during the production. She gives off much information by her expressions used throughout the play. I have read that in the original transcript of the play, the key characters never appear on stage. I believe seeing her gives a major impact to the setting. It helps the audience see the people surrounding the mystery. Even though she does not utter a word, her expressions help tell the story. The characters enter the room from the outside and are bundled in heavy clothing indicating that it is extremely cold outside. There are three men, Sheriff Peters, who is dressed in a coat and hat. His clothes make him appear to be about middle class. Followed by the County Attorney, Mr. Henderson, who is dressed a little nicer and classier than the other men and the neighbor Mr. Hale. Behind the men are two women. One is Mrs. Hale, the neighbors wife who is dressed very homely and Mrs. Peters, the Sheriffs wife, who is dressed very nicely but looks very uncomfortable. The costumes help give the idea of the status of these characters and help declare what they represent. The most distinguishing was Mr. Henderson who looked like he was in authority with his nicer outfit. Both women stand by the door while the men go over to the stove to warm themselves up. The fact that the two women are behind the men is a way of introducing the fact that women are inferior to the men and are supposed to follow behind their husbands. In the beginning of the play you already see that women are living in a male dominated world. It is seen that the image of women has little value without a man. The womens identities are obscured by those of their husbands. It is emphasized when the county attorney reminds Mrs. Peters that she is married to the law because her husband is the Sheriff. It is seen that women are just a lesser sex compared to men. Women were also seen by having lower intelligence as seen when Mr. Hale says, Well, women are used to worry over trifles. In recent times they have been treated as more than just property, but not with the respect they deserve. When the men leave, the two ladies are left in the kitchen by themselves. Instead of focusing on the men in the case, the play concentrates on the women. They engage in small talk and without even knowing it, they use the tactics that a trained police officer would be using to figure out a mystery. They talk about how the kitchen was left after the murder. 3 Tips for Writing a Stand-Out Why Tulane Essay
3 Tips for Writing a Stand-Out Why Tulane Essay SAT / ACT Prep Online Guides and Tips If youââ¬â¢re applying to Tulane University, you can choose to answer the Why Tulane optional statement as part of your application. The Why Tulane supplement essay asks you to explain why you want to attend Tulane. In this article, weââ¬â¢ll talk about what the Why Tulane application is, whether you should answer it, and how to write a successful essay thatââ¬â¢ll help increase your chances of admission. The Why Tulane Essay Prompt The Why Tulane supplement essay is straightforward: Please describe why you are interested in attending Tulane University (optional) (50-800 words). See? Straight to the point. While the instructions are simple, the wide range of word count and relatively open-ended prompt make the Why Tulane essay more difficult than it initially seems. Youââ¬â¢ll need to put some serious effort into your essay in order to stand out as an applicant. Should I Write the Why Tulane Supplement Essay? Looking at the Why Tulane application essay, you might be wondering if you even need to write the essay in the first place. After all, the prompt does say ââ¬Å"optionalâ⬠. While thatââ¬â¢s true, it would be a huge mistake to not write your Why Tulane application essay. This essay is a great opportunity to a) show off any interests and talents you have that arenââ¬â¢t immediately apparent on the rest of your application and b) demonstrate why Tulane is a great fit for you and vice versa. The Tulane supplement essay is your chance to prove that you belong on Tulaneââ¬â¢s New Orleans campus - donââ¬â¢t forgo it! What Is the Purpose of the Why Tulane Essay? Colleges like Tulane want to see that you really want to attend their school. Applicants who love their school are more likely to be active and happy students and later, active and happy alumni. Your essay should show the admissions committee that you really love Tulane, which will make them feel more confident that youââ¬â¢ll be a great addition to the campus. Applicants that really want to attend a school are also more likely to enroll, meaning that Tulaneââ¬â¢s rate of enrollment will be higher. Similarly, Tulane wants to make sure you know and value what they offer, and they also want to assess how youââ¬â¢ll take advantage of the many opportunities on Tulaneââ¬â¢s campus to further your academic and professional career. This essay is a great opportunity for the admissions committee to weed out students who havenââ¬â¢t done their research on Tulane or really donââ¬â¢t care about attending. What Should I Write About in My Why Tulane Application Essay? Your Why Tulane essay is your chance to express to the admissions committee why you want to attend Tulane. What made you apply to this school over any of the thousands of others you could have applied to? Your Why Tulane application essay should be personal. The admissions committee doesnââ¬â¢t want to read a cookie-cutter statement that could be written by any student about any school. Your paper should read as uniquely about you and uniquely about Tulane. With that in mind, here are three ideas for what you can write about for your Why Tulane essay. #1: What Resonated With You When You Visited Tulane If you made it down to New Orleans to visit Tulane, you should tell a specific story about what resonated with you on your campus trip. You could talk about a class that you sit in on or an experience you had with a tour guide. You could discuss visiting a local restaurant or engaging with New Orleans culture. The Tulane admissions committee wants to hear about what stuck with you - and generic, bland answers will stand out as insincere. This essay isnââ¬â¢t about why you want to attend college - itââ¬â¢s about why you want to attend Tulane. Pick experiences that could only happen at Tulane, not anywhere else. #2: What Makes Tulane a Great Match With Your Past and Your Future You can use your Why Tulane essay to expand on your interests and passions as a student and person. Tie those interests back to Tulane itself to show why Tulane is the right school for you. Tulane places a large emphasis on community service, so if you have experience doing community service in your hometown or plan to make that a large part of your life at college, this essay is a great opportunity to talk about that passion. If you want to study a specific field, like public health, that Tulane specializes in, the Why Tulane essay is the place to highlight that. Use this essay to describe how attending Tulane fits in with your plans. Doing so will help show the admissions committee that you plan to make the most out of your time on campus. #3: Experiences Youââ¬â¢ve Had With Current or Former Students Tulane admissions officer Jeff Schiffman recommends name-dropping current or former Tulane students to explain why youââ¬â¢re interested in attending the university. According to Schiffman, your reasons donââ¬â¢t have to be particularly highbrow or academically-minded. You might just have noticed some awesome Instagram posts from a friend of a friend or heard great things from your second cousin. However you have the connection, use the Why Tulane essay to prove your interest in attending Tulane. Tips for Writing an Amazing Why Tulane Essay Writing a strong Why Tulane application essay isnââ¬â¢t just about picking the right topic. You need to make sure your essay is the best possible example of your work in order to wow the admissions committee. Follow these three tips for writing an amazing Tulane application essay. #1: Make Your Work Tulane-Specific Nothing about your Why Tulane essay should be generic or impersonal. The more specific you can be when answering this prompt, the better. Donââ¬â¢t say Tulane has great academics, caring professors, and an interesting student body. Tulane knows that already - it doesnââ¬â¢t need you to tell its admissions officers that. Everything you write about in your Why Tulane essay should be specific to Tulane - from the names of the professors and the courses to the feeling you had while visiting the campus. The more authentic you are, the more your passion for Tulane will stand out. #2: Do Your Research The best way to make your Why Tulane essay specific to Tulane is to do your research about the school. If you can, visit the campus to get a feel for its student body and on-campus life. If you canââ¬â¢t, spend time perusing the schoolââ¬â¢s website and try to speak with current or former students. The more you know about Tulane, the more convincingly youââ¬â¢ll be able to write that Tulane is the best school for you to attend. You should get an idea for the different clubs and activities that youââ¬â¢d like to participate in. You can find this information on the schoolââ¬â¢s website. It can also be worthwhile to schedule a meeting with a professor, especially if you have a particular area of study that youââ¬â¢re extremely interested in. #3: Proofread and Polish Your Essay Your Tulane essay should be the strongest example of your work possible. Before you turn in your application, make sure to edit and proofread your essays. Your work should be free of spelling and grammar errors. Make sure to run your essays through a spelling and grammar check before you submit. Itââ¬â¢s a good idea to have someone else read your ââ¬Å"Why Tulaneâ⬠essay, too. You can seek a second opinion on your work from a parent, teacher, or friend. Ask them whether your work represents you as a student and person. Have them check and make sure you havenââ¬â¢t missed any small writing errors. Having a second opinion will help your work be the best it possibly can be. EBay Stock Option Plans Essay Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 750 words
EBay Stock Option Plans - Essay Example When the figures are compared between the two methods, the figure that denotes eBayââ¬â¢s unprofitable operations can be turned to a profitable one with the choice of the accounting method. Thus, ethical considerations which should be based on accurate reporting of its performance to its investors, are of little importance to eBay in choosing the method for reporting its options. Certain financial considerations seem to play part in the choice of eBayââ¬â¢s financial reporting for stock options. As the choice will impact a handful of items in the financial statements of the company, financial considerations seem to be very relevant as for eBayââ¬â¢s choice of intrinsic value over fair market value (Bradshaw 2004, 3). According to an article from Darden Business Publishing, University of Virginia, the main advantage of choosing intrinsic value over fair market value is that firms will not record compensation expense when the market price is equal to the exercise price (2004, 12). This gives a firm a significant financial advantage as it reduces the effect of compensation expenses to the companyââ¬â¢s operating expenses, which then affects the companyââ¬â¢s net income. When a company like eBay can choose to report its stock options based on the intrinsic value method, it is required to put footnotes in order to show the figures if fair market value method is used for financial reporting. However, because this is just a footnote and does not require recognition in the financial statements of the company, the choice has some strong relevance to the financial considerations that are associated with it. According to the article from the University of Virginia, the shift from intrinsic value to fair market value method of reporting stock options will impact eBayââ¬â¢s financial statements by recognizing a deferred tax asset for the estimated future benefit, which will

Why should we stop worrying and learn to love WK3 assignment Essay
Why should we stop worrying and learn to love WK3 assignment - Essay Example This devise help to monitor the vital strokes of the website. Most developed world has surveillance gadgets watching all principal streets and putting the streets under close watch. The panoptic gaze watches the public and the specialists watch every move made by the public from the comfort zone of television monitors (Mattelart, 2010). Many people view this technology revolution with horror. A monumental debate erupts on the topic public surveillance (Boris, 2013). This debate has led to the questioning of the ethical issues. It is evident that the government has surveillance cameras installed in every corner of the major cities. Many people have joined this discussion, and they insist that governments and leading corporations have access to the surveillance of the public. The public insist that the surveillance infringe on their private lives (Winston and Edelbach, 2013). Some people feel that the government and the surveillance corporations have no right to monitor their movements. They claim that they feel that it is unethical to monitor the publicââ¬â¢s movements. Development of face recognition software has made the some people opposing the surveillance program detest the services. They feel that the surveillance monitors their conversation making it impossible to run away from the surveillance cameras and satellites (Mattelart, 2010). In his book, In Praise, society, ethics and Technology, Taylor argues that indeed the government should encourage the use of surveillance technology to monitor the movements and operations of people. Taylor affirms that the government ought to put all the citizens under surveillance. Offices, shops, and classrooms should have surveillance cameras. Taylor opposes the Orwellian nightmare (Mattelart, 2010). Orwellian nightmare is a situation, societal condition and an idea that Orwellian created that surveillance was destructive to the publicââ¬â¢s open and free welfare. George Orwell claimed that

Cultural Perspectives on Vaccination Essay Example for Free
Cultural Perspectives on Vaccination Essay The debate is led by anti-vaccinators who oppose vaccinations on ethical, political, religious and medical safety grounds. On the other hand, pro-vaccinators argue that the health benefits of vaccines outweigh the very few adverse effects that they have, and that vaccines have been largely advantageous to public health. Main points of contention: Pro-vaccinators (usually health care specialists, microbiologists, governments, pharmaceutical companies) Vaccinations are an effective and cost-saving tool for disease prevention. Positive externality attached to the use of vaccinations ââ¬â overall public health is positively affected Side-effects are infrequent and the most common ones are minor. Anti-vaccinators (some conservative Islamic and Christian groups, usually libertarians and victims of public panic) Vaccines are ineffective and are used to generate profits for Big Pharma. Mandatory vaccinations interfere with individual and religious freedoms. Vaccines have severe side-effects and can trigger brain disorders. Points in favor of vaccines The effectiveness of vaccines has been globally verified.à Scientific research confirms the efficiency of all vaccines administered to the public, including the vaccines for measles1, influenza2 and pneumococcal disease3, 4. Protection against seasonal flu, chicken pox, cervical cancer, whooping cough, among other diseases5 Vaccines led to the eradication of small pox6. Global reduction of polio (number of cases has shrunk by over 99% since 1988)7, measles (deaths have reduced by 78%)8, tetanus (92% reduction in global cases since 1980s)9 Most side effects caused by vaccines are minor, such as low-grade fever10. In the US, vaccines are introduced to the public after years of thorough testing and are monitored closely after10. Points against vaccines and rebuttals Vaccines are a ploy by Big Pharma to generate profits by marketing needless vaccines. All companies are motivated by profits, including McDonalds and Apple Inc. Pharmaceutical companies are encouraged by public authoritiesà toward the production of vaccines due to the resultant overall public health savings, despite the following: Medicines for chronic diseases are more profitable. Production of vaccines is a high-risk venture since it involves huge capital investment for research. Moreover, vaccine production, safety and marketing activities are tightly controlled by authorities11. Foreign governments repeatedly push for lower costs. Although the vaccine industry has grown multifold over the past years and is generally profitable, pharmaceutical companies should not be blamed for misdirection when the health advantages of vaccines have been verified by academia and are widely acknowledged. Exemptions on religious and philosophical basis should be permitted. The religious and philosophical views of a group can be overlooked to protect the health of an entire population, since unvaccinated people create a level of risk for themselves and for the rest of the population12. The Netherlands is at risk of a measles outbreak in the orthodox Protestant group, and the consequent transmission of measles to the general population, as shown by a recent study13. Mandatory vaccines infringe upon individual freedoms. Vaccines directly affect the well-being of the people around, and are thus, not as private a decision as one would assume. Positive externalities are usually ignored by people while making decisions. Some people claim that taxes are unconstitutional. But taxes, like vaccines, are a mutual responsibility and work for the common good. Vaccinations lead to life-threatening side effects. The most common side effects of vaccinations are minor, like low-grade fever or soreness near the injection site10. Scientific research has disproved the popular claims that vaccines cause SIDS14 or brain disorders like autism15, 16. The chances of complications from diseases are much higher than the chances of complications from vaccines. Thimerosal, a preservative used in vaccines, and the MMR vaccine cause autism. Research shows no cause-and-effect relationship between autism and thimerosal17, or autism andà the usage of MMR vaccine15, 16. The usage of thimerosal has only minor side-effects, like swelling near the injection site18, and the most common side effect due to the administration of the MMR vaccine is low-grade fever10. Thimerosal was taken out of vaccines for children in 2001 only as a preemptive measure. Even then, autism rates have only grown18. Nearly all scientists whose researches concluded a positive correlation between vaccines and autism retracted their researches. Vaccines must be repeated and do not provide long-lasting protection. One size neither fits all humans nor all diseases. MMR vaccination does, in most cases, provide life-long protection. Other viruses mutate fast and immunizations must be renewed to fight the virus. Repetitive vaccinations are a small cost to pay in the face of deadly diseases. Even vaccinated children might contract diseases. Vaccinations are 90-99% effective in preventing diseases among children19. These diseases generally manifest with milder symptoms and less severe complications. Some children do not respond to vaccines and some are not immunized due to compromised immune systems or allergies. Herd immunity must be achieved in order to protect the unimmunized population. Whooping cough epidemic despite the availability of vaccinations Effectiveness of vaccine relies on herd immunity Vaccination rates have been dropping due to anti-vaccination movements and the subsequent public panic. Exemptions against vaccines have doubled since 199720.à States which make exemptions easily available to parents have more cases21. Most cases of whooping cough are among infants too young to be vaccinated. Highly-publicized cases of brain damage alleged to have been caused by the whooping cough vaccine created public panic in Great Britain which caused a drop in immunization rates and thus, epidemics of the disease22, 23. Most complications reported were not associated with the vaccination22. Better hygiene and sanitation in the recent years is the reason for the falling rates of diseases. Better hygiene does prevent the spread of diseases. However, disease-causing germs stick around, sometimes in our bodies. They can also be spread by means such as sexual contact or sneezing, and vaccinations teach our bodies how to fight diseases once the germs attack our bodies. Measles, like other diseases, saw a permanent drop in 1962, after its vaccine was licensed24. Evidently, vaccines have a direct impact on disease control. The cases of haemophilus influenzae in children started declining a few years ago, since the introduction of the vaccine for children, while the levels of sanitation and hygiene have been practically unchanged since 199023. The number of global cases for vaccine-preventable diseases has been dwindling as the vaccinated population has been growing. India is polio-free now due to country-wide vaccination efforts (in modern times) to eradicate the disease25. Some doctors and scientists stand against vaccination. A vast majority of doctors, including medical experts at CDC, WHO as well as non-governmental organizations like the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, support the administration of vaccines. It is important to consider the religious and philosophical views of these doctors. Sometimes, financial gains might be involved26. Combination vaccinations overburden the immune systems of babies. Children, in fact, receive fewer antigens today than they did in the past. There is no evidence to support this hypothesis.à Combination vaccinations simply reduce the number of vaccines administered to babies.

Aggression and aggressive behaviour
Aggression can be found across civilizations and gender. Aggressive behavior is either to injure another, to derive something for the attacker, or to ensue in both hurt and immaterial additions ( Zirpoli, 2008 ) . It is normally assumed that work forces are more aggressive than female. As it can observed in our day-to-day life, the inclination for work forces ââ¬Ës engagement in competitory athleticss such as utmost games, the military, and the unsafe work is far higher than adult females. We know that aggression is an emotional energy. Both male and female need a certain degree of aggression in their working or analyzing life to accomplish their ends. When adult females and work forces work together in a squad, work forces frequently are more aggressive and dominate mixed-gender squads. For illustration, a company manager place is normally denominated by work forces. It should observe that there are besides adult females taking a company but the proportion is non that high comparison to work forces. On the other manus, adult females are less prone to self-assertion and more prone to compromise. They are more likely to work towards keeping relationships among team members every bit good as advocator for group harmoniousness. This may propose that male has a high emotional intelligence to move sharply in prosecuting their ends. Harmonizing to our study, findings show that male is more aggressive. For illustration, for the inquiry of ââ¬Å" Male or female are more aggressive? ââ¬Å" , one of the replies suggests that male is more aggressive for the ground that they have their natural inherent aptitude in them called self-importance which sometimes causes them to be more competitory. However, we besides found the contradiction during the interview subdivision with Ms. Alice. Harmonizing to her, adult females can be aggressive and it may be chiefly based on their civilization, household background. If a adult female were populating under tough environment, they can be aggressive than a adult male who is populating in comfort zone. She will endeavor really hard in their work to purse for a better life in their hereafter. Zirpoli, T.J. ( 2008 ) . Modeled aggressive behaviour. Education.com. Life anticipation can fall due to many factors such as disease, accident, war, dearth and so on. On the contrary, betterment in lifestyle, wellness and public assistance can increase life anticipation. Historical information shows that females have lived longer than males in virtually every state in the universe. Harmonizing to Rosenberg ( 2010 ) , presently the universe broad life anticipation for female life is 66 old ages but for male is 62.7 old ages, a difference of more than 3 old ages. Life anticipation can be affected by emphasis through unhealthy effects of emphasis on human organic structure over the long-run. A research done by Katyal and Awasthi ( 2005 ) found that females tend to hold higher emotional intelligence than males. The possible grounds might be due to the fact that females be given to be more emotional and confidant in relationship as compared to males, so their emotional intelligence ought to be higher than that of females. This suggests that female is more intelligence in stress direction. For illustration, females are likely to shout out and talk out whenever they encounter trouble as a manner to live over their emphasis. Males, on the other manus, are more likely to maintain it soundless under nerve-racking status which severely affects long-run wellness. Furthermore, life styles can convey a profound consequence on life anticipation every bit good. Our determination shows that bulk of the respondents pointed out that females tend to hold a better life style comparison to males. It can be seen that the degree of intelligence in pull offing lifestyle varies among gender. Females are more intelligence in commanding their behavior to avoid holding unhealthy eating manner comparison to male. Besides, male and female have different emphasis let go ofing techniques in their unrecorded. Males tend to let go of emphasis through fume or intoxicant while females are tend to make shopping or yoga as a manner to let go of emphasis. As a consequence, we can reason that females are more intelligence in pull offing a better life style comparison to work forces and it is one of the of import grounds result in longer life span. Preparing for the Ultimate Trial Essay - 1967 Words
Preparing for the Ultimate Trial On their arrival the souls had to go straight before Lachesis. And an interpreterâ⬠¦.took from the lap of Lachesis a number of lots and patterns of life andâ⬠¦proclaimed: This is the word of Lachesis maiden daughter of Necessity. Souls of a day, here you must begin another round of mortal life whose end is deathâ⬠¦Then (he) set before themâ⬠¦.different patterns of life , far more in number than the souls who were to choose themâ⬠¦ Plato, The Republic, Part 11/Book 10 In order to write this essay, I first had to understand Platos stand point on life and death, body and soul. What was his idea of a healthy way of leading your life? The very essence of Platonic thinking comes down to Platos definitionâ⬠¦show more contentâ⬠¦Basically I will be looking at Platos views on love, because from love spawns all goodness and beauty. This will be explained further later. Platos theory of forms (the two world theory- one sensory world of objects, and another world of forms and ideas), wisdom and justice as necessary factors in a happy life, and the nature of the soul (Immortality). Plato placed a lot of importance on beauty, the true appreciation for beauty. Platos circular dogma comes in into play in a lot of his theories, so this too will be investigated. Let us start with the death of Socrates, Platos mentor and lover. Illustrated in the Phaedo, Plato shows us an insight into this great mans teachings, of which there are no copies. He was thought to be the wisest man in Greece at the time of his execution. Socrates would be considered the epitome of Platonic man; he had achieved the highest levels of wisdom and goodness, the absolutes of beauty. But how did this man achieve these degrees of understanding and insightfulness? He simply lived his life following the motto he set for himself, Become what you are. There is the knowledge and beauty there for the taking, it is up to us to find our path. If Socrates is the ideal platonic man then he is a good role model for me as I prepare myself for my ending day. I would strive for the Good which in Platonic terms is a totality of perfection.
